We are currently recruiting for an **Electrical & Instrumentation Commissioning Supervisor** to join our team on the Magino project in Northern Ontario.

**About **the **role**:

- Manage and oversee the installation of all low voltage, medium voltage and high voltage power and control systems.
- Manage and oversee the construction activities of the Electrical & Instrumentation installation contractor.
- Ensure contractor site activities are carried out safely, in accordance with the designs and to the required standards.
- Receive and resolve contractor RFI’s in relation to electrical and instrumentation.
- Ensure pre-commissioning checks are completed and detailed records of testing are kept.
- Provide support to the commissioning team once commissioning starts.
- Be a part of Ausenco’s Safety Management program and ensure your personal behaviour represents the safety standard Ausenco strives for.
- Monitor and record the installed quantities of electrical cable, cable tray and equipment.
- Participate in daily commissioning activity meetings.
- Equipment pre-start-up and start-up check sheet completion and sign offs.
- Testing and verifications of Instrumentation and Electrical systems.
- Assisting Vendors with integrated commissioning tests.
- Assist with Verification of Quality documentation and sign offs.
- Participate in mechanical completion walk downs.
- Prepare commissioning test procedures and reports; Develop and maintain commissioning logs, equipment checklist, and other tools to track commissioning projects; Write comprehensive reports which include the following sections: recommendations for optimizing building operations, functional checklists, list of deficiencies, equipment operation and maintenance manuals.
- Review design criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other documentation pertinent to commissioning.
- Integrated system testing; Load Bank Testing; Compilation of all testing procedure results.
- Administer functional tests for various systems, such as: electrical distribution systems, UPS, standby generators, etc.
- Help lead and manage any external resources; schedule and direct periodic commissioning meetings; attend construction and coordination meetings if required for the project.
- Interface with clients, contractors, equipment vendors and owners agents as needed; execute project assignments; interface with project contractors, vendors, and testing technicians; interact with all facets of the company: engineering, design, etc.

**About You**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an internationally recognized University or equivalent.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience related to I&C design with experience in mining and mineral processing.
- Prior industry experience in mining projects considered an asset.
- Advanced in the Microsoft Office® package.
- Knowledge of SPI (smart plant instrumentation) is ideal.
