AECOM is seeking an **Organizational Strategist** located within the Greater Toronto Area to join our practice. **Strategy+** is AECOM’s design-led management consulting studio that operates at the intersection of Business Transformation, Organizational Dynamics and Place Strategy.

**Job Summary**

We’re looking for someone that is comfortable blurring the lines between strategy, business, people and the built environment, qualitative and quantitative data, is a strong communicator, comfortable tackling diverse projects across differing industries, is highly motivated, engagingly collaborative and possesses outstanding analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

- Inspire specialists, architects and engineers through business, strategy and design practices to think and act differently
- Engage with clients through user research, visualize qualitative and quantitative data, and facilitate workshops to drive new ways of thinking
- Assess Organizations:

- Conduct interviews, workshops and industry comparisons to understand organizational dynamics and identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate organizational capabilities, structures, and processes, identifying opportunities and weaknesses using best practice methodologies.
- Craft Strategic Insights:

- Translate research findings into actionable insights and strategies that inspire solutions for collaborators and clients.
- Visualize and present both qualitative and quantitative data effectively to stakeholders.
- Deliver Organizational Solutions:

- Support the design and implement strategic interventions that foster collaboration across teams and align with the organization’s long-term goals.
- Support the development of frameworks and methodologies to address strategic and organizational issues, enhancing client operations and outcomes.
- Support Change Management:

- Support the change management lifecycle, including planning, strategy development, leadership alignment, communication and engagement.
- Support the design of training and development programs to ensure the sustainability of change initiatives

**About You**

A T-shaped individual that asks thought-provoking questions, is comfortable wading into ambiguous problems and can take ownership, are a critical thinker, and has specialized experience in one or more of the following areas and possesses a broader comfort and ability to work within many of these areas:

- Management consulting and / or corporate strategy
- Data analytics & modeling
- Communications strategy, branding and marketing
- Change management, people operations, organizational design & development
- User research, synthesis of qualitative data and generating insights
- Good-to-have: Familiarity with the AEC industry

Strategic Thinker:

- Ability to identify risks, opportunities, and gaps in organizational strategies.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously

Collaborative Leader:

- Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate workshops and lead discussions.
