Toromont Cat is looking for a Shop Helper/Wash Bay Attendant to primarily support our team of service technicians with wash bay duties and shop helper tasks as assigned.

**As a Shop Helper / Wash Bay Attendant, YOU will**:

- Ensure Cat machines are cleaned, detailed and maintained to Toromont standards
- Maintain safe and operational cleaning equipment while ensuring tidy wash and service bay areas
- Assist in the inspection of vehicles and equipment while identifying and advising of any noted damage or maintenance needs
- Perform maintenance, set-up, minor repairs, and other duties in the assembly and service Cat equipment
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections on equipment and merchandise per Toromont Cat standards
- Complete all required reports and forms for assignments in a timely fashion

**Must-haves for this role**:

- Previous washing and detailing experience, with the knowledge of basic vehicle operation and maintenance with attention to detail; ability to identify minor damage and/or needs for repair
- Familiar and committed to safety protocols to avoid injuries and/accidents
- Able to operate tools and equipment for cleaning (e.g. pressure washers, vacuums, etc.)
- Effective communicator with team, leaders, and customers for a safe and professional working environment
- Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift between 40-50 lbs. as needed
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as may be needed.
- Valid driver’s license required.
