Dental Administrator

We are seeking a part-time Dental Administrator to join our team at Oak Bay Dental
**Schedule**: Two days a week Wednesday/Friday or Thursday/Friday
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Create a friendly and professional experience for patients, acting as the first point of contact in patient management.
- Manage the office phone system, including answering phones, appropriately directing calls, booking appointments, and addressing patient concerns.
- Assist in the maintenance of the patient database.
- Oversee the processing of insurance claims and billing systems.
- Establish and manage internal office protocols and procedures to ensure office efficiency.
- Communicate and follow up with insurance companies regarding claims and payments.
- Organize appointment schedules.
- Deliver direct individual and team leadership to ensure all office employees demonstrate outstanding client service.
**Position Requirements**:
- One Year of dental/medical admin experience
- Working knowledge of dental billing and insurance protocols.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, professional demeanor.
- Excellent multi-tasker who can work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
