**Salary**:
Under Review: Classification 15, $55,291.46 - $57,001.50 annually, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Annual vacation (119 hours) is pro-rated, and front loaded. We offer competitive extended health and dental benefits (staff are eligible after the completion of 6 months of employment hours). Support Collective Agreement includes time off for family illness, personal illness, and other special leaves. Closure during the Christmas Break (Dec 25 - Jan 1st) of each year is paid time off. Mandatory participation in the Municipal Pension Plan.

**Description**:
The Student Recruitment & Admissions Department is seeking to hire two (2) regular full-time Program Advisors that will act as a key resource in student retention and success, providing guidance for students as they navigate their academic experience.

This position is an integral member of a broader team at NLC where collaboration and liaison are essential to providing students with accurate and consistent information, navigational support, and access to services.

The Program Advisor is a primary source of guidance and support for program planning, credential requirements and other course-related questions, enabling students to achieve their academic goals. The Program Advisor provides accurate and informed academic advice to students through their thorough knowledge of college programs and courses, policy and procedures, and regulations as they pertain to academic advising and program completion.

The Program Advisor supports students holistically, encouraging students to proactively take responsibility for their progress and planning throughout their educational journey, while supporting their success through challenges and achievements.

**Qualifications**:
