Wetaskiwin Co-op is recruiting for the position of full-time **Yard Attendant** for our lumber yard located 4707 40th Ave in Wetaskiwin, Alberta.

**What you’ll do**:
Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, the Yard Attendant is a self-motivated individual who has strong attention to detail. This is a full-time permanent position eligible for benefits. Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Provide members and customers with good, efficient, courteous service.
- Perform loading and unloading procedures, picking of orders, and delivery of orders.
- Operate a forklift.
- Organize and effectively prioritize tasks in a quick paced environment.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the lumber yard.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Home and Building Products and:

- You are physically able to repetitively lift, stack, pull and carry items up to 80lbs.
- You have a valid class 5 driver’s licence, having a class 3 driver’s licence would be an asset.
- You have a love of the outdoors and are available to work weekends.
- You have experience in a customer service environment with proven positive customer interactions.
- You quickly prioritize individual responsibilities, and effectively manage time under deadlines.
- You have basic knowledge in home improvement projects.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
