We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual for an intern position in the Victor IT Business Analysis group. This position is based within our group & retiree benefits office in Mississauga.

The intern will work within an hybrid work environment however a remote work arrangement could be accommodated, based on circumstances.

**What a typical day would include**:
As part of our Business Analysis team, you will participate in active projects by:

- Assisting with writing business requirements and function specifications for new systems and modifications to existing systems;
- Providing assistance with research and fact finding for business and client needs;
- Gathering problem support documentation of results and escalates to appropriate staff member;
- Providing assistance to senior staff performing requirement gathering interviews with users.
- Participating in updates to status reports and task planning activities.

**What you need to have**:

- Working knowledge of Excel and others MS-Office software programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills enabling positive interactions with employees, management and clients.
- Proven strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team-based environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to change and a willingness to question the status quo in order to improve the work environment.

**What makes you stands out**:

- Currently enrolled in their third year of a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Commerce, Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or any related field with a graduation date between December 2023 and June 2024.
- Demonstrated leadership or initiative through school, community and/or work.

May to August 2023
