**Summer Student, Capital Procurement - (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada)**

**This is a summer student position which begins in May 2023 and will last approximately 4 months. **Active Recruitment to begin in January 2023.**

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Capital Procurement, POT

**What you will do**:

- Provide support and assistance with the administration of all aspects of the Procurement department, including special projects
- Directly support and work with site procurement and Category Management team members executing various capital project requirements for the Potash Business Unit
- Support end users’ needs for sourcing goods and services, including providing appropriate and timely input to planning of capital project needs; assisting in RFx processes including reviewing scopes of work, evaluating bids, negotiation preparation and execution, completing and implementing contracts
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best value for Nutrien is realized, balancing safety, quality, schedule, and cost
- Ensure compliance to company policies, procedures, and best practices

**What you will bring**:

- **Must be currently enrolled and completed at least 2 years of an undergraduate Supply Chain, Procurement or Operations Management program (or equivalent) at an accredited post-secondary institution AND returning to full-time studies after the work term.**
