Our client is Canada's leading provider of commercial laundry equipment and services, offering a complete range of vended and non-vended laundry solutions. With a robust inventory of parts and skilled service teams, they ensure top-notch performance and customer satisfaction.
We are currently seeking a Field Appliance Technician for a full-time, permanent position based in Brockville, ON. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, this role is pivotal in maintaining and repairing laundry and appliance equipment across various locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, diagnose, repair, and test laundry equipment to company standards
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
- Manage and replenish truck inventory for efficient service delivery
- Ensure the safe operation and cleanliness of the company vehicle
- Assist with installations, retrofits, and equipment overhauls as required
- Conduct thorough site inspections and evaluations
**Requirements**:
**Appliance Repair Certification or enrolled in a certified course (Bonus)
**Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract
**Solid mechanical and technical aptitude, including basic electronics
**Preferred experience in repairing small chassis Washers and Dryers
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong troubleshooting skills in technical, electrical, and mechanical areas
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and travel as needed
- Must provide own basic tools
