**Team of Two Live-In Superintendents**
**Location**: Ottawa, Ontario AND Kingston, Ontario

The Patry Group of Companies seeks a dedicated team of two live-in superintendents to manage and maintain one of our luxury apartment buildings. We are seeking a **live-in superintendent team **that is reliable, detail-oriented, and hard-working. You will share the cleaning and building maintenance responsibilities, ensuring that the property remains in excellent condition and that our residents enjoy a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.

**Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)**:

- **Resident Support/Relations**: Act as the primary point of contact for residents, responding to maintenance requests, providing assistance with building services, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Foster a strong sense of community among residents by promptly addressing concerns and resolving issues.
- **Cleaning and Upkeep**: Ensure that all common areas, such as lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms, and parking areas, are clean and well-maintained. Duties include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and other cleaning tasks.
- **Building Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including daily inspections of common areas, minor plumbing, electrical, and general repair tasks. Coordinate with external contractors for larger issues when needed.
- **Security and Safety**: Monitor building security, control access, and respond promptly to emergencies (such as fire alarms or security incidents), following established safety protocols.
- **On-Call Availability**: Shared responsibility of being available for after-hours emergency calls and handling urgent issues related to maintenance or resident concerns.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Assist with record-keeping and maintenance and cleaning activities documentation. Maintain reports for management to ensure smooth building operations.
- **Waste Management**: Oversee the proper disposal of waste and recycling, ensuring that designated areas remain clean and organized.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in property management, building maintenance, or cleaning is preferred.
- Knowledge of property management software Yardi is considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capability to manage time and tasks independently.
- Flexibility in responding to after-hours emergencies and handling resident concerns promptly.
- Experience with residential building operations and security practices is an asset.
