**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Manager, Acute Care Services, you will play a role in the work of eHealth through strategic planning, procurement, implementation, ownership, operation, and management of software directly implemented into an acute care setting as well as associated provincial components and infrastructure.

To put these solutions in place, we are looking for a highly skilled business analyst with a team player attitude and customer focus who takes pride in knowing the work they do has a direct impact on the lives of patients, their families, and our community. The type of work will vary every day but will revolve primarily around documenting business processes and specifications, planning implementations and providing support for technology solutions.

**Typical Daily Duties**:

- Gather and document business processes, requirements, and specifications
- Liaise with end users, customers, and third party service providers
- Provide support and training for technology solutions
- Ensures that recommendations include sufficient controls
- Identify opportunities where business processes can be enhanced through the implementation of technology or by other techniques
- Participate in and lead projects as needed to ensure that services are planned for and smoothly transitioned into Support Services

**To qualify for this position you will have knowledge and/or experience in the following**:

- Knowledge of database concepts, theories and principles;
- Knowledge of requirements analysis and solution design principles;
- Health sector related business knowledge is required;
- Experience with facilitation and training as well as proficient in solving complex problems, delivering solution; and
- A passion for continual learning.
