**JOB SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Manager of Education and Training, the Education and Training Coordinator will be responsible to support the goals of the Education and Training Department, in Marketing and Network Development, Registration and Scheduling, as well as Supporting Training Workshops. The Education and Training Coordinator will foster, build and maintain a network of outside agencies and the community-at-large, and promote the services of the organization in a manner that supports the Sara Riel and SR Training brands and ensures the reputation of the organization within the community is upheld.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**
- Administrative Support experience within a nonprofit is an asset.
- Special Event Planning support experience is an asset.
- Experience in Online Facilitation Software (Microsoft Teams and Zoom)
- Ability to learn and maintain AV technology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, as well as other programs in the Microsoft Office Suite, such as Word, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as Canva Design.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Valid driving license.
- Familiarity with issues in Mental Health, Addictions, Crisis Services and Suicide.
- Bi-lingual in both official languages as asset.
- Ability to provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check as well as Adult and Child Abuse Registry Checks.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Marketing and Network Development**
- Supporting the marketing endeavors of the Education and Training Department.
- Research and development to build on a networking call list for the purposes of establishing a current and accurate contact database.
- If appropriate, attend presentations with the Community Connections Coordinator or the Manager of Education and Training.
- Social media for trainings and events; planning, production, posting and scheduling

**Registration and Scheduling**
- Assist in the registration process, both Website and internal referrals.
- Gather accurate information for billing.
- Ensure the Training Room is properly booked and help to manage booking conflicts.

**Support Training Workshops**
- Ensure the Training Room is set-up appropriately for the scheduled training.
- Confirm materials are available, or photocopied, for the number of participants.
- Shop for snacks and beverages for an appropriate number of participants, within budget.
- Allocate and prepare food service set-ups for the facilitators.
- Assist with the printing of certificates and collect feedback forms.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Build on and maintain a database of organizations and contacts to which we can market and promote our training options.
- Support and grow the registrations to ensure training spots are filled to capacity.
- Enhance and improve the training environment to enrich the experience of participants.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $21.61 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Work Location: In person
