**What can I expect to do in this role?**: As a Fire College Instructor, working as part of an integral team, you will:

- Participate in the design, development and delivery of course curriculum.
- Coordinate the delivery of various courses.
- Conduct student evaluations.
- Advise and support adjunct instructors.
- This role involves overnight stays and travel across Ontario (as required).

**How do I qualify?**:
**Adult Education Knowledge and Experience**:

- You have knowledge of, and experience with, adult education principles, techniques, and practices to prepare and present training programs in varied forms across diverse media, including eLearning technology
- You know models of teaching and have experience with curriculum development in order to design and deliver course content

**Essential Skills**:

- You have research, evaluation and time management skills to develop, administer, score, and evaluate written, oral, and practical evaluations
- You have strong oral and written communication skills to deliver course material and presentations
- You have proven experience facilitating adult eLearning synchronously and asynchronously

**Fire Service Knowledge**:

- You have a well-rounded knowledge of fire service professional education and training programs and operations
- You have a keen understanding of fire department operations and fire services personnel roles and responsibilities
