By 2015, Pures College and Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology established a partnership to deliver high quality programs to international students in our Toronto locations. Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology is a public funded college established on 1967. Pures College and Northern College established a strategic partnership in order to expand the international market by representing Ontario’s private and public post-secondary education brands. The two parties aim to enhancing the international students experience in Ontario, Creating skilled and talented workers and also driving the economic growth.

**Overview**:
By maintaining an organized and structured classroom environment, the Instructor helps ensure that students are progressing effectively. The administration of assignments, tests, projects and exams will help students stay engaged and provide the Instructor with an accurate gauge of student success. The Instructor works under the guidance and supervision of the Department of Academic Affairs at the College. The position is a "Day Time" teaching position which requires you to have previous teaching experiences.
- Assess and identify students’ individual learning needs
- Teach students using a variety of techniques: lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations
- Assign and correct homework, provide feedback to contribute to students’ progress.
- Answer students’ questions
- Help students improve their results
- Maintain frequent and effective communication with students, parents and administration
- Evaluate and review the progress of students
- Curriculum development

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years' teaching experience with community college
- Familiar with Ontario Community College teaching
- Prefer instructor with native or near native English fluency
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude, highly responsible
- Able to motivate and inspire students
- Responsible and passionate about teaching
- Able to help students with diverse educational backgrounds and learning abilities

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
