**_ We are looking for_**_ a _**_SAP Business Systems Analyst - FICO for our Caledon, ON, Canada office_**
**Summary**: As an experienced analyst you will bring your expertise for identifying and supporting ongoing organization's needs, break them down into functional requirements and suggest scalable and extensible solutions, integrations, and systems. You will work with the team to craft solutions that support business requirements, drive key business decisions, and solve business problems. You will be part of a team supporting SAP FICO S/4HANA hosted.
**Responsibilities**:
**Essential Duties**:
- Synthesize business requirements to create clear and comprehensive user stories and solution design documentation.
- Provide strategic solutions involving configuration, creation and refinement of complex data models, external integration, business process automation, and other custom functionality.
- Build lasting relationships through day-to-day interactions with key Business Partners and team.
- Works with business and technology leaders to further define the support and project functions needed within the organization.
- Gather, refine and document user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Create/update data dictionary, data modeling and flow diagrams as needed.
- Document business process/data flows.
- Participate in solution design and testing activities.
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
**Education/Experience**:
- Highly Preferred: BS in Information Systems or related discipline (Finance, Accounting, Business Systems, etc)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in SAP
- Minimum 2 years System Design experience and hands-on Functional Consultant implementing SAP FICO:
- Knowledge of Financial system modules: General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting (e.g. ACH, Wire, Banking, Integration, etc), Group Reporting Taxes/VAT, Controlling Product Costing and Profitability Analysis.
- Tools knowledge: SAP Query, Report Writer/Painter.
- Integration points with other modules (SD, MM, VMS, Warranty, etc )
- Worked on at least 2 end to end SAP implementations
- Hands-on functional configuration.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to deal with a variety of stakeholders and end users.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills in MS PowerPoint and Visio
- Be able to communicate effectively with delivery team on issues, new requirements.
- Conduct testing sessions with business users and provide feedback to the delivery team.
- Strong understanding of SAP best practices and functionality.
- Proven ability to successfully drive projects to completion.
- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
**Preferred Attributes/Competencies**:
- Manufacturing experience is a plus, with Standard Costing
- Experience with S/4HANA on-prem platform implementation is a plus.
- SAP certification(s) is a plus.
- Accounting background/experience
**Additional Requirements**
- Must be willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally, as required
