**Roles & Responsibilities**
The position is primarily responsible for the sales of Waterloo Biofilter systems in the Ottawa region, reporting directly to our Sales Leader. This position plays a key role in our Sales team as the Ottawa region is a rapidly growing market for onsite wastewater treatment. Traveling around Ottawa and the surrounding area will be required to meet with customers and guide them on their journey with Waterloo Biofilter. Experience in business to business sales preferred and ability to visit job/construction sites a must.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Working directly with customers to manage sales of Waterloo Biofilter systems in Ottawa and the surrounding region.
- Seeking out engineers, designers, builders, septic installers, and homeowners in need of onsite wastewater treatment solutions.
- Providing technical support to customers during the installation of their system and effectively diagnosing and troubleshooting technical product problems.
- Assessing customers’ needs, location, resources, and budgets to provide basic design information, proposals, and quotes for Waterloo Biofilter systems.
- Collaborating with local engineers and designers to specify our products.
**Requirements**:
- Past sales experience in a similar industrial industry.
- Enjoys working with people and has excellent communication skills.
- Home-based in the Ottawa area.
- Comfortable visiting construction job sites to advise on installs.
- Enjoys talking with customers and being their advocate within Waterloo Biofilter.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong working knowledge and experience in Microsoft based software (specifically Word and Excel).
- Thrives in a growth-oriented, positive culture that focuses on the customer.
- Full G License with a clean driving record.
- Post-secondary degree in business and/or environment sciences preferred.
- Experience working with wastewater / septic systems preferred.
**Location & specifics**
- Ottawa, Ontario
- Monday - Friday, full time
- Work from home position, with some travel around Ottawa and the surrounding region

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
