**Salary range**: $ 76,000 to $95,000 per year

CADTH is Canada’s drug and health technology agency. We’re a not-for-profit organization headquartered in Ottawa, with a satellite office in Toronto. We’re funded by Canada’s federal, provincial, and territorial governments, with the exception of Quebec, to provide independent information and advice to the country’s publicly funded health care systems. Health administrators and policy experts rely on CADTH to inform their decisions about the funding and appropriate use of the drugs, devices, and services used to prevent, diagnose, and treat medical conditions.

Primary Focus
The Regional Support Officer provides essential coordination support to the Customer Relationships team’s key functions of engagement with senior health decision-makers and gathering and monitoring jurisdictional intelligence insights to share within CADTH. The Regional Support Officer is responsible for communication, collaboration, and coordination, as well as documentation, analysis, and reporting activities that directly support the pan-Canadian Customer Relationships team.

**On any given day, the Regional Support Officer will**:

- support the development and implementation of communications mechanisms across the Customer Relationships team for the purpose of internal sharing
- facilitate regular information exchange between CADTH program officers across CADTH business units and coordinate Customer Relationships team input to collaborative activities
- support collaboration across internal CADTH programs to facilitate both sharing and gathering of Customer Relationships team jurisdictional intelligence to support new initiatives, project scoping, and projects in progress
- monitor and conduct analysis of team inputs to support the identification of topics and opportunities to support senior health decision-makers and health system leaders, and to share knowledge about common system priorities, challenges, and opportunities
- provide coordination support for mechanisms to facilitate connection and knowledge sharing among senior health decision-makers, such as roundtable or summit meetings
- lead coordination between CADTH project teams and regional leads to facilitate the use of relevant jurisdictional intelligence and senior health decision-maker input
- support regional leads in facilitating awareness and supporting use of CADTH products and services by senior health decision-makers with a focus on contributing to the realization of outcomes and impact on key jurisdictional health system priorities
- develop and maintain documentation of team guidance and procedures
- develop and maintain documentation and reporting templates for relationship management and jurisdictional intelligence functions
- lead the collation and summary of information from team documentation to support routine and ad hoc reporting for the use by the Customer Relationship and Engagement team; and/or in support of organizational performance, impact, and operational reporting; and/or other internal or external communication needs.
- provide coordination support for team meetings and/or other internal or external meetings, as requested.

Is this the right role for you?

**The Regional Support Officer will likely have**:

- a postsecondary education in a health-related discipline or public administration combined with no less than 3 years of related experience. A suitable combination of education and experience may be considered.
- an understanding of the Canadian health care system and knowledge of the decision-making processes within the federal, provincial, and territorial jurisdictions
- the ability to fluently converse using medical terminology and knowledge of the basic research methods used in health settings
- strong customer service orientation, with the ability to build collaborative and productive relationships both internal and external to the organization
- strong writing and presentation skills, coupled with solid organizational and planning skills
- experience managing multiple tasks and the ability to thrive and effectively adapt to changing environments
- political acumen and the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
- intermediate proficiency with Microsoft 365 products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
