**Site: Sister Margaret Smith Centre**

**Shifts: Days/Evenings including weekends**

**Rate of Pay: $32.58 - $41.51 per hour**

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Social Work degree or equivalent from an accredited University
- Registration with affiliated college
- Minimum of three years of clinical work with adults experiencing substance use difficulties
- Direct experience in crisis intervention, intensive group work and case management
- Knowledge of substance abuse theory, harm reduction model and related mental health issues
- Experience with interdisciplinary bio-psychosocial model of care
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated understanding of Indigenous Culture and Northern communities
- Demonstrated understanding/training in trauma, crisis intervention models are an asset
- Ability to work both independently as well as on a team are required
- A valid Ontario Driver's License & driver's abstract Class: G
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
