**About the Role**: As a Learning & Development Specialist on our People & Culture team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, facilitating, and evaluating learning initiatives to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our talented people. You will collaborate with the Director, Workforce Development, to develop a competency model and learning strategy that supports our focus of being a learning organization. You will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to identify training needs, develop engaging content, and create a culture of continuous learning that aligns with our strategic objectives.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Collaborate with leadership groups to assess development needs, gaps, and objectives, and develop tailored learning programs for employees at all levels, including leadership.
- Partner with external and internal providers to design and develop engaging learning & development programs for employees, and experienced and emerging leaders, ensuring adult learning theory is embedded and learner experience is prioritized.
- Design, deliver, and evaluate both technical and soft skills training sessions, workshops, and online courses.
- Stay on top of industry trends and incorporate best practices into learning and development strategies.
- Implement and manage Learning Management System (LMS) tools to track and assess employee development progress.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of development programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, identifying trends and making continuous improvements.
- Support the development and execution of a comprehensive talent development strategy, including bi-annual performance review cycles.

**What we're looking for**:

- 5+ years' experience as a Learning & Development Specialist, preferably at a Technology company.
- CTDP (Certified training and development professional) or CTP (Certified Training Professional) designation is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in developing multiple learning pathways for all levels of employees and leadership
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms. Experience with Learning 360 is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong proficiency in data preparation and analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across teams and departments.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in using various training and development tools.
