**Mitrex & Cladify : Packaging Specialist (Solar and Cladding)**

**About the Job**:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Packing specialist at Mitrex is responsible for expertly packing glass products such as cladding and solar cladding, as well as receiving shipments. The role requires maintaining a positive cohesive relationship with the production team and supply chain managers to ensure maximum satisfaction for our customers with mínimal cost impact.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement expert packing plans for client delivery.
- Coordinate with the production team and supply chain managers to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage quality control of materials received from vendors.
- Manage quality control of products shipped to site.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding packing and shipping processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of packed materials and shipments.
- Evaluate onsite receiving zone for best delivery practices.
- Proven experience in expert packing coordination.
- Experience in glass shipping and logistics or window wall and curtain wall warehouse product shipping.
- Knowledge of packing techniques and materials.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities utilizing the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software (SAP preferred).
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
- Excellent knowledge of Canadian onsite material delivery best practices.
