As our new **Crew Member, **you will be responsible for assisting the crew with quality workmanship, truck and trailer cleanliness, and machinery, tool and small equipment care.

If you were working for us, here are some of the things you would have done last week:

- Construct walkways and patios, walls, fences, decks, posts, etc.
- Dig ditches or trenches and perform land clearing activities
- Plant and maintain garden beds and lawns
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying
- Operate chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.
- Periodically operate heavy equipment, including skidsteer, excavator, and loader as directed by supervisor
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning

**The Details**

This is a full-time, seasonal job, working at job sites across the Bruce Peninsula, from Tobermory to Lion’s Head, Wiarton, Port Elgin, Sauble Beach, Georgian Bluffs, Meaford, and Markdale. Outside of the Landscape Construction season, there are opportunities to join our Snow department.

**Qualifications**
- Willingness to grow and learn
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Enjoy working in a fast paced, team environment
- Ability to complete physically demanding work in hot, cold, and wet weather
- Comfortable with power tools and general math problems
- Valid driver’s license

- Experience with landscape and/or construction
- Experience reading landscape designs and instructions
