**What we are hiring for**:
We are currently hiring a** **Full-Time** **Direct Support** Professional** **for our Community Connections program.

In this program, Direct Support Professionals make a difference in people's lives by supporting people with developmental disabilities to make connections in their communities. They facilitate experiences to cultivate belonging and citizenship and assist people in activities that reflect their specific interests and goals - including employment supports, volunteerism, and community groups.

**What you will need**:

- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities an asset
- Current certification in First Aid/CPR or willing to obtain
- Current certification in NVCPI or willing to obtain
- Valid "G or G2" class license and reliable vehicle
- Be willing to provide a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Documentation of COVID-19 Vaccination

**Compensation and scheduling**:

- $21.77 - $22.43 per hour based on experience
- 40 hours per week

Lambton County Developmental Services started back in 1955 when a group of parents whose children had developmental disabilities came together while dreaming of a life without limitation for their loved ones.
