We are looking for Handyman at our Scarborough plant.

**Overview**: Maintains and repairs property / properties, performing a variety of duties across various sites.

**Duties**:

- Performs and maintains records for the required utility and building daily**, **weekly and monthly checklist issued by the Site Facilities Manager
- Cleans buildings, washes windows, and empties trashcans, using brooms, cleaning supplies, and floor buffer.
- Paints interior and exterior walls and trim, using paint and painting tools.
- Maintains property utility rooms
- Maintains and repairs building’s plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts, such as lamps, switches and fuses.
- Repairs or replaces building brick, stone, concrete and celling tiles.
- Maintains and repairs wood parts of buildings, using carpenter tools.
- Replaces worn or damaged parts, such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment, such as truck, street sweeper, and riding mower.
- Hand washes vehicles.
- Performs additional duties assigned, based on site needs and or Site-Owner’s request.

**Minimum requirements**:
**Education**:

- 12 grade or GED
- Trade certification would be an asset (Millwright, Industrial Mechanic, Journeyman)

**Experience/Skills**:

- Minimum of 3 ~ 5 years relevant work experience in industrial or commercial properties.
- Computer experience with skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge on Health & Safety measures.
- Must have valid driving license and own vehicle

**Shift**:
8 am to 4 pm
