Q2 Artificial Lift Services (ALS) has 40+ repair and service facilities located across the Canada and the U.S. Our service locations are supported by a world-class manufacturing operation (API & ISO Certified), plus a highly skilled engineering and optimization group. Q2 ALS manufactures high quality individual pump parts in the Oil and Gas Industry. We offer a complete product line of barrels, plungers, fittings, accessories and heat treated tubing needed for downhole pump installations.

Basic Employee Responsibilities

Every Q2 ALS employee is expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner.

**Specific responsibilities include the following**:

- Leading by example by following established Quality, Health and Safety policies & procedures.
- Showing respect and pride for facilities and equipment.
- Being responsible - on time for work, and take breaks during designated times.
- Carrying out other tasks from time to time as assigned by a supervisor or request for assistance as needed.

Position Specific Responsibilities
- Perform First off, In-process & final inspections of production barrels.
- Process work orders
- Prepare & manage nonconformance reports from initiation to closure
- Assist in the development of work instructions and final inspection reports
- Equipment maintenance and calibration tracking
- General work area housekeeping
- Other tasks as seen fit by supervisor

Required Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Ability to determine the documentation and product requirements as specified in the Job Card Routing (JCR)
- Understanding and ability to read fabrication and assembly drawings
- Understanding of the component and its purpose
- Understanding of the material used in the part and the properties
- The ability to properly use measuring and monitoring equipment

Physical Demands
- Periodicheavy lifting up to 5Olbs.
- Standing for 8 hours
- Machine shop environment
- Inside work

- Oil and gas: 1 year (preferred)
