We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced
**Accounting Clerk to join our team on a part-time (3 days per week), permanent basis in Montreal. **As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for a wide range of daily accounting activities, including:
**Responsibilities**:

- Posting and processing supplier invoices in multiple currencies for several operating companies (accounts payable function).
- Recording and processing customer payments into accounting software.
- Generating sales invoices and managing collection efforts for several companies (accounts receivables function).
- Processing credit card transactions and posting journal entries.
- Assisting the team with sales taxes filing and remittance in Canada, US, and other countries.
- Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records for non-operating companies.
- Issuing software licensing as required.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Good knowledge of Sage 50 or other accounting software is a must.
- Advanced Excel capabilities are essential. Knowledge of macros and Access would be an asset.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Organized and detail-oriented; good planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Eager to learn and improve existing processes.
- Are comfortable in a small company environment.
- Bilingual (French and English), both verbally and in writing. (More than 80% of our revenues come from outside the province of Quebec).
