ONE Fertility Burlington is a state-of-the-art full service fertility centre devoted to providing specialized fertility care, treatment and counselling. We are looking for an experienced, compassionate and enthusiastic medical receptionist to join our team.

Under the direction of the Admin Supervisor, the Medical Receptionist will be representing ONE Fertility, often as the first point of contact for our community.

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

- Greet patients in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Answer phones and triage incoming calls as needed.
- Responsible for booking all patient related appointments with physicians, confirming appointments with patients and rescheduling and cancelling as necessary. This includes booking patient appointments over the phone and in person as well as completing patient related booking tasks received from the clinical teams.
- Make sure all patient reminders are made and all schedules are kept updated with the confirmed status of each booked appointment.
- Maintain the patient cancellation list for patients seeking to get earlier appointments with their physician.
- Answer and transfer all incoming phone calls into the clinic, taking messages for return calls as needed and returning calls received after hours.
- Scan documents into our EMR.
- Invoice patients for applicable medical services.
- Distribute chart copies, manage the release of medical information for patients and other medical clinics.
- Managing outbound referrals.
- Checking and distributing incoming mail.
- Provide clerical and cross-functional duties as assigned based on office needs.
- Assist with cleaning throughout the reception area as needed.
- Demonstrated knowledge of infection control practices.
- Compliance with workplace safely, PPE policies and procedures is required.

Physical Requirements:

- Position involves sitting and talking for sustained periods of time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Successful completion of a recognized medical office administrator program preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years medical office experience required.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in third party billing an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
- Demonstrated initiative, accuracy and the ability to work independently.
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must enjoy interacting with all patients.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
