What you’ll do & Who you are

We're looking for an experienced Head of Product to promote the evolution and growth of Kijiji. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, this role is pivotal in evolving our product strategy, enhancing user experience, and achieving targets. As a key leader within the product organization, you will navigate the challenges of a dynamic digital marketplace. You will lead a team of passionate product managers and collaborate with the engineering, design, marketing, and data teams. This is a hybrid role; you will work some days in our new office in downtown Toronto, and some days remotely.

What you'll do:
- Develop comprehensive product roadmaps that align with Kijiji's mission, user needs, and goals.- Lead and expand a team of product managers and designers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and user-centricity.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize, design, and deploy features that enhance user engagement and drive growth.- Use data and user research to inform decision-making, ensuring product decisions are aligned with user needs and market trends.- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the product portfolio, ensuring Kijiji remains at the forefront of the classifieds marketplace.- Be product promoter, internally and externally, articulating the product vision, strategy, and value proposition to multiple stakeholders.

Who you are:
- 8+ years in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing a product team.- Proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies in digital marketplaces or e-commerce platforms.- Comfortable using data to guide strategic decisions.- Experience mentoring and growing teams.- Capable of engaging with diverse teams and executives.- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and a user-centered design.- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Design, or a related field.
