**ABOUT US**

Blue Lattice is a privately held IT consulting firm with clients operating in various business sectors. Each customer receives a unique set of services customized to their needs. We are primarily focused on management consulting, software development, project management, infrastructure management and end-user support.

**OVERVIEW**

The Systems Administrator works in a multi-client environment, on-site and off-site, having the responsibility of ensuring that all information technology systems are running adequately. Under the supervision of the Senior IT Consultant, the incumbent performs a wide range of functions, ranging from end-user support to complex system management and data manipulation tasks.

**FUNCTIONS**
- Install, configure and maintain Windows and Linux servers (physical and virtual)
- Manage cloud infrastructure services
- Operate and maintain endpoint management tools
- Operate and maintain backup, monitoring and event log management tools
- Assist first-level IT support personnel and cover for them on occasion
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Work with vendors to address software or hardware issues
- Review system alerts and log files, and take appropriate action when needed
- Import data, export data and generate reports upon request
- Document technical processes/procedures and maintain inventories
- Provide 24x7 on-call support in emergency situations, when needed

**PROFILE - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES**
- Knowledge of server infrastructure: Bare metal, VMware
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure: Azure, AWS
- Knowledge of server operating systems: Windows, Linux
- Knowledge of endpoint management tools: Intune, Jamf, Endpoint Central
- Knowledge of backup and monitoring tools: Veeam, Zabbix, Splunk
- Knowledge of programming languages and relational databases is desirable
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies
- Ability to analyze problems, research and find solutions
- Ability to effectively support IT systems and achieve a high level of user satisfaction

**GENERAL**
- English is required, French is desirable
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken
- Able to work quickly, accurately and without supervision
- Excellent organizational skills
- Flexibility

**QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
- Experience managing IT infrastructure
- Experience dealing with people in a customer-service environment
