**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Director, Centre for Initiatives in Education, the incumbent will help develop the FASSinating Learning Partnerships program, a collaboration between ODFASS and CIE. Working with the Director, Centre for Initiatives in Education, they will determine the framework for a program that coordinates and supports FASS Units in offering non-credit courses. They will develop policies and procedures, work with 13 FASS units to cultivate course ideas, setup the registration and payment systems, and determine the amount and type of work required once the program is available. It is expected that the incumbent will work with FASS units to offer 3 - 6 FASSinating courses. The FASSinating Learning Partnerships program will fall under the umbrella of the Lifelong Learning Program. In addition, the CIE Program Development Officer will participate in Lifelong Learning Program planning and staff supervision.

**The incumbent must possess the following qualifications**:

- The person must be self-motivated, organized, and must be an effective member of a team.
- Communicate coherently and promptly with others, and must respond well to requests and inquiries from other internal and external parties.
- Be resourceful, professional, and tactful, with the ability and willingness to solve problems and the capacity to work under strict deadlines.
- The ability to build relationships with individuals from internal and external organizations, thus strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as professionalism and tact are essential.
- Excellent written skills are required.
- Sound knowledge of administrative procedures, as well as training and experience in the use of computers for data management and learning management systems are required.

**Education and Experience**:
**The above is normally acquired through the completion of**:

- Four-year Bachelors Degree. Masters degree in a relevant field is desired but not required.
- Four years of working with adult education or continuing education programs with demonstrated

ability to set up adult education programs
