**About the Job**

Reporting to the Sr. Project Manager, the Project Manager will take on a full range of project management responsibilities, including planning, budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and manage multi-unit build/renovation construction projects, full life cycle.
- Create and review project schedule and budgetary goals regularly.
- Establish project budgets including tenders and changes.
- Review and approve all claims, project records, invoices, and documentation.
- Communicate project details regularly through reports to all stakeholders.
- Negotiating contracts with external vendors and subcontractors.
- Obtain permits and licenses as needed.
- Align project team with coordination of consultants, vendors and project support.
- Assist Project Sponsors in tracking projects (10+), reporting to the Senior Project Manager
- Update budgets and master schedules in conjunction with the project team.
- Attend meetings, review minutes (with action items and dates) and distribute,
- Help source and manage resources required (materials, equipment, etc.)
- Review and submit shop drawings and assemble drawings and packages and align team.
- Maintain project documentation logs including permits, tenders and construction drawings.
- Coordinate with Property Management, Asset Management, Leasing on items as directed on behalf of the Project Sponsor
- Manage files, copy, and other administrative duties.
- Perform material takeoffs and cost estimates.
- Create and issue purchase orders, change orders, notices and RFIs
- Obtain and assemble project close-out documentation including as-builts drawings, manuals, warranties, etc.
- Follow up on deliverables by SLP leaders, staff, consultants, trades and provide information required for the deliverables to be met.
- Maintain strong client, stakeholder and vendor relations.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years experience managing construction projects; experience with multi -unit builds and renovations is highly desirable.
- Postsecondary diploma or degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil

Engineering or related discipline
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials and project management principles.
- Fundamental understanding of project financial controls.
- Familiarity with quality and health & safety standards.
- The ability to interact successfully and manage relationships with multiple external clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in prioritizing tasks and effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication and time-management skills; plus shows excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- A team player with a positive attitude who can work independently as needed.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, and extensive knowledge of construction / project management software.

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$97,500.00 per year
