**Oxygen Technologies** a leading IT Managed Services company, is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable **Technology Advisor** to join our team. As a **Technology Advisor**, you will play a crucial role in understanding the client environment, identifying opportunities and provide IT consulting services. Reporting to the Technology Delivery Manager and working closely with VCIOs, you will receive mentorship, collaborate on industry trends and best practices, and contribute to strategic planning. Your responsibilities will also include strategic road mapping, budgeting, trend identification, and ensuring clients stay ahead of industry standards.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. ITSF Discovery and Client Assessment**:

- Complete ITSF Discoveries to gain a comprehensive understanding of the client's technology environment, infrastructure, and business objectives.
- Identify pain points, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement within the client's IT infrastructure.

**2. IT Consulting and Relationship Management**:

- Meet with clients on a scheduled basis to provide strategic IT consulting services.
- Understand the client's business goals and align technology recommendations to support their objectives.
- Offer preliminary recommendations for enhancing the client's IT infrastructure and adding value to their business operations.

**3. Root Cause Analysis and Trend Identification**:

- Conduct root cause analysis on recurring tickets to identify underlying issues and develop proactive solutions.
- Identify trends and patterns in client tickets and provide insights to improve overall IT operations and minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with the Technology Alignment Manager to implement preventive measures and optimize IT service delivery.

**4. Collaboration with vCIOs and Technology Alignment Manager**:

- Work closely with vCIOs to receive mentoring, guidance, and expertise in IT strategy and consulting.
- Collaborate with the Technology Alignment Manager to analyze industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to strategic planning, road mapping, and aligning client IT initiatives with industry trends.

**5. Strategic Planning and IT Road Mapping**:

- Assist clients in strategic planning by developing technology roadmaps that align with their business goals.
- Analyze current and future technology trends to guide the client in making informed decisions about their IT investments.
- Collaborate with the Technology Alignment Manager and VCIOs to develop comprehensive IT strategies and roadmaps for clients.

**6. Budgeting and Resource Planning**:

- Provide input and recommendations for IT budgeting and resource planning for clients.
- Assist clients in understanding the financial impact of technology decisions and help prioritize investments based on business needs.

**7. Industry Standards and Best Practices**:

- Stay up to date with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Proactively identify areas where clients may be falling behind industry standards and develop strategies to address gaps.
- Offer guidance and recommendations to clients to ensure their IT infrastructure remains compliant and aligned with industry regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary Education including a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional technical certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a technology consulting or advisory role, preferably within the IT services industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, security, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively collaborate with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technology environments, conduct root cause analysis, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with budgeting and resource planning for IT initiatives.
- Ability to stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- ITIL or relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Valid Drivers license, and own a vehicle
- Must be geographically located in Winnipeg, Manitoba for this position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
