**Senior Business Analyst **Role and responsibilities

**CBAP or PMI-PBA certification and Utility industry experience is highly preferred**

Mandatory Requirements

1. A Bachelor’s level University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a similar discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
2. A minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analyst including requirements gathering, facilitation, use case analysis and detailed design activities.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Desirable Skills:
1. Demonstrated experience in a Business Analyst role in eHealth in a Canadian jurisdiction related to both project and operations work.
2. Demonstrated experience in facilitating sessions with diversified groups of Subject Matter Experts/stakeholders resulting in clear and concise business requirements.
3. Demonstrated experience in documenting workflow / business processes / user stories.
4. Demonstrated experience in defining and documenting Standard Operating Procedures in support of program operations.
5. Demonstrated experience in Canadian provincial eHealth system, including understanding HL7 integrations, HL7 messaging laboratory domain (requisition and results), electronic lab distributions.
6. 5 years of IM/IT experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: From $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Business/System Analysis and Quality Assurance: 5 years (preferred)
- Utility Industry: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CBAP or PMI-PBA (preferred)
