SmartLife Assistants help staff our SmartLife shop and are a blend of administrative support and customer service.

Their role may include:

- providing hand-over-hand guidance as you demonstrate devices
- recommending products and processing sales
- maintaining the shop (setting demo watches, clocks, etc.) and cleaning surfaces and demo items
- providing information to clients on VLR and CNIB Foundation services
- greeting clients and guests; advise staff when clients arrive for appointments
- guiding clients and guests to washrooms/offices

Weekly shifts are weekdays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. OR 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- **Once You’re Onboarded**:_ You and the Manager of Programs will discuss your availability and decide on a weekly shift that works for you. SmartLife Assistances can expect their first few shifts to be focused on training in the shop with training continuing as new situations arise
