**Job Title**: Financial planning and Accounting Analyst, Online Learning Platform

This position is funded by the **SWPP funding program**. In order to be qualified for this funding, **Canadian citizenship **or **permanent residency**is required**.**

**General Job Description**:

- Builds and maintains the organization’s global accounting policy.
- Reviews new and/or revised IFRSs as they are released in order to ensure the online business complies with the International Accounting Rule

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
- Builds and maintains the organization’s global accounting policy.
- Reviews new and/or revised IFRSs as they are released in order to ensure organization complies with the International Accounting Rule.
- Assists with financial reporting requirements, such as, financial statement close process, account reconciliations, etc.
- Perform financial analysis for annual budget and monthly forecasting by variances analysis, trending analysis, ratio analysis, etc.
- Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate progress towards goals/Business Development and expansion and creates future financial plans.
- Analyzes both internal and external resources and develops key operating metrics and trends.
- Track, compile, and record project costs in accounts; close out the accounts at the completion of the projects.
- Support the monthly close process through ensuring accuracy and completeness of settlement and depreciation runs.
- Perform depreciation calculation for the company’s current accounts.

**Qualifications for the job**
- This position is funded by the **SWPP funding program**. In order tobe qualified for this funding, **Canadian citizenship **or **permanent residency**is required**.**
- This is a 4-month student co-op position.
- You **ARE NOT REQUIRE O**F the knowledge and skills of the computer languages, and coding to get this position, we will provide necessary basic training at work, according to the assigned, nature of the workload. Therefore, we encourage students who study at any major to apply.
- We welcome students who are currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution's co-op program, following degree/diploma program to apply:
1) Undergraduates at University level

2) Diploma or advance diploma programs at Public College level
- The student who studies in the major related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Business and Social Science, considered a priority.
- Basic English reading and writing ability, ability to communicate orally in English.
- Chinese (Mandarin) speaking will be an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Team player
- Creative thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills

**Compensation**:

- $15.50 per hour, full-time co-op at 35 Hours per week, Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM, excluding the statutory holidays.
- Comply with Ontario ESA
