K2 ELECTRIC - ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR

**ROLE**

**RESPONSIBILITIES CAN INCLUDE**:

- Administer accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP)
- Administer payment of bills, invoices, and staff expense claims
- Lodge cash/cheques and manage online banking including online payments and transfers, and assisting with intercompany finances
- Prepare and submit payroll
- Prepare monthly accounting reconciliations
- Identify account discrepancies and perform account reconciliations
- Assist in preparation of year-end audits
- Ensure financial controls are adhered to
- Other duties as they arise including special projects

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- **3-5 Years Minimum of experience in a similar role**:

- Knowledge of accounting principles and payroll legislation
- Post-secondary education in accounting is an asset
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel
- Experience in construction and project accounting is highly desirable
- Experience communicating with and working for senior staff in multiple departments
- Ability to complete a high volume of work and meet deadlines
- Strong data entry skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
