**Warehouse and Delivery Team Lead**

**Position Details**:

- Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
- Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 5:00 Schedule
- $46,800 - $58,500 annual salary ($24.00 - $30.00/hour)
- 2 weeks (10 days) paid vacation
- Additional paid time off for non-statutory holidays including Easter Monday, August Civic Holiday, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, and Remembrance Day

**Required skills and experience**:

- Ability to work safely, accurately, and efficiently
- Strong and physically fit
- Stamina to lift and move up to 100 lb. repeatedly
- Demonstrates good problem-solving skills
- Ability to organize logistics and scheduling
- Experience in team leadership
- Demonstrates responsibility and accountability
- Ability to perform small repairs an asset
- Inventory management experience an asset
- Basic computer literacy an asset

**Must be able to provide**:

- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence, or equivalent
- Satisfactory 3-Year Uncertified Driver Record
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead the Warehouse and Delivery Team
- Demonstrate leadership and take accountability for decisions
- Prioritize safe work practices for yourself and the team
- Encourage team morale and positive work culture
- Delegate tasks effectively
- Receiving and inventory management
- Unload items from transport trucks in a safe and efficient manner
- Check orders to ensure all items are correctly received
- Document and report any damaged items or packaging
- Label and organize customer’s special-order items and stock items
- Perform quarterly inventory counts and reporting
- Pick-up and delivery logistics
- Prep items for customer pick-up, and assist with loading and securing
- Schedule deliveries and plan routes efficiently
- Ensure items are loaded accurately and securely
- Practice good customer service while delivering customer’s orders
- Immediately report any damage to items or property
- Ensure all documentation is completed
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Ensure properties are clean and well-organized, including the Warehouse, Delivery Truck, Delivery Trailers, Storefront, and Showroom
- Check that tools and equipment are available and in good working order
- Schedule trips to the Kenora Transfer Station, or other disposal sites, as needed
- Schedule servicing as needed for delivery trucks, trailers, or equipment
- Accountable to ensure cleaning checklist is completed weekly (light housekeeping such as vacuuming, mopping, garbage and recycling)
- Other tasks as assigned
- As a small business, there are situations that fall outside of anyone’s formal job description. If the Warehouse and Delivery Team are best suited to manage such a situation, the task will be delegated to the team.
