CNIB invites you to build a career as unique as you We are currently searching for a **Clerk, Customer Service** Reporting to the Coach, SmartLife & Assistive Technology Programs, the Clerk, Customer Service provides general support to Smart Life and Assistive Technology Programs.

**Your impact at CNIB**:

- Assists customers with ordering products using the computer and over the phone.
- Provides information to Smart Life customers concerning items available through the online store.
- Administrative responsibilities in support of CNIB operations including answering calls and responding to in-person inquiries involving client service, events and programming.
- Assists with the planning and implementation of programming for clients, Accessible technology coaching, Smart Life, and virtual programs
- Assists and provides guidance for individuals participating in the CNIB Foundation's programming.
- Demonstrates assistive technology, including Voiceover and various apps for iPhone and iPad.

**Requirements**:
**Who you are**:

- University or community college student preferred.
- Related Fields of Study include social services, disability studies, administration, communications, technology, customer service or equivalent work experience

**We want to hear from you if you have**:

- Experience working with the general public.
- Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and sight loss is considered an asset.
- Personal or professional experience working with assistive technology and/or accessible environments is considered an asset.

**Eligibility**:
**This position is funded through Canada Summer Jobs. To be eligible to participate in the Canada Summer Jobs initiative, individuals must**:

- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment,
- Be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or persons to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.
