**Job Summary Statement**:
The Transportation Broker will manage key accounts and coordinate, schedule and dispatch drivers going cross-border according to customer requirements.

**Essential Functions & Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for moving all loads CAN & USA including working with international carriers and freight forwarders to streamline the flow of goods across international borders and through customs.
- Develop and maintains carrier and customer relationships
- Searches and secures front and back-hauls
- Data entry into transportation software & systems
- Processes and closes load confirmations for invoicing and order entry
- Assists dispatchers as needed
- Administers customs paperwork
- Update customers and Brimich employees in a timely manor to ensure loads are delivered on time
- Identify problems proactively and develop creative and efficient solutions
- Provides after-hours assistance as required

**Job Specifications—Skills and Competencies**:

- 3 - 5 years of clerical, operational or administrative experience related to freight traffic are required.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a LTL/TL Dispatching or Brokerage role within the Transportation/Logistics industry
- Completion of secondary school is required; college diploma or university degree in business or transportation administration an asset
