Banquet Server/bartender

Job Posting Position: Event Servers & BartendersReporting To: Food and Beverage Director
**Summary**

The Events team will serve all our events and responsibilities will include executing their operations in the banquet facilities and serving the clients. They ensure that the clients have a great event experience with good food and great beverages
- Follow direction from Catering Manager and team lead at all times
- Preparing tables, serving stations, or buffet tables for service
- Running food from the kitchen to the tables
- Serving food and beverage to guests at their tables or at serving stations
- Creating a pleasant atmosphere for dining and entertainment, always smiling and polite to our clients
- Strong Communication to discuss with colleagues to ensure a smooth event
- Clearing glassware, plates, cutlery, napkins and other tableware once the guests are finished their meal, making sure they go in the dirty dish area properly and put in correct bins
- Balancing large sized trays in order to bring them safely to the clients
- Filling the glasses or jugs on the table of the customers with water regularly
- Supervising and overseeing the proper arrangement of dining equipment like spoons, forks and platesetc
- Making sure all items in the event space are torn down and ready for next event
- Cleaning up after events and aiding in inventory
- Bartender to serve alcohol to guests and make sure they are very aware of beverages given to each guest, providing bar service to guests, including cash and credit services
- Bartender to make sure well stocked for all beverages and also all inventory done at start of shift and also at end of shift. Lock all beverages away when event is over
- Ability to handle high-stress situations
- Reliable transportation for late nights
- Understanding of food and beverage health and safety requirements and knowledge of catering best practices

**Qualifications**

Minimum High school education

2-5 years of banquet serving in hotel or banquet venue

Smart Serve Certificate

Food Safety Handler’s Certificate

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
