We are currently looking for individuals to fulfill a position of Project Manager(s) with one of our government clients

**Location**: Hybrid (2-3 days in Office)

**Duration**: 12 months to start with possible 1 extension.

**Client**: Ministry of solicitor general

**Description**
- At least 7 years of experience in **project management**.
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in **managing large scale public safety radio or wireless telecommunication infrastructure projects.**:

- Experience leading **portfolio level planning sessions** involving multiple projects.
- Demonstrated **experience preparing and distributing project updates, progress reports to project stakeholders.**:

- Experience overseeing/developing, implementing and **managing complex network transition** and migration strategies and plans
- Ability to **manage vendor** commitments to ensure contractual obligations are met
- Ability to manage and provide oversight and direction to **third party vendor resources**:

- All roles procured are required to be cleared through the Contractor Security Clearance Process of the OPS.

**Must Haves**
- **Communication and Relationship Management**: Demonstrated experience to act independently and make decisions that achieve optimal results with mínimal supervision
- **Public safety radio or telecommunications infrastructure experience in a large public sector entity**: Experience with projects involving network design, network implementation, civil structures, user equipment distribution and operations.
- **Project Management Skills**: Demonstrated experience in managing project activities across multiple complex technology projects

**Nice to Haves**
- Public Sector/Govt Ministry work experience

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: $80.00-$90.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- IT Integrated Enterprise project management: 7 years (required)
- Vendor management: 5 years (required)
- OPS (Ontario Public Sector): 1 year (preferred)
- handling public safety radio/ telecommunication projects: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- PMP Certification (preferred)
