**Job Description**:
**What would you do**:

- Lead and manage a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality performance and professional growth.
- Develop, improve, and refine existing QA processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall quality of deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product owners, to understand project requirements and effectively integrate QA activities within the agile software development lifecycle.
- Define and implement QA strategies, including test planning, test design, test execution, and defect management, to ensure comprehensive coverage and timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Collaborate closely with the QA automation team to establish automation strategy and priorities, ensuring the appropriate level of test automation coverage to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding processes to build a talented and motivated QA team, ensuring the right skill set and team dynamics are in place for successful scaling.
- Actively participate in the testing efforts, including test case creation, test execution, and defect identification, to ensure comprehensive coverage and support the team during peak workloads or critical project phases.

**Qualifications**:
**Contribute to our team with your strengths**:

- Proven experience in manual software testing, including test planning, test design, test execution, and defect management.
- Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies and the role of QA in iterative development processes.
- Proficiency in QA automation tools and frameworks, with a solid understanding of automation best practices and principles.
- Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role within a QA team is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a systematic approach to testing and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, optimize team performance, and achieve measurable results.
- Experience in working with scalable and complex software systems in a SaaS model.
- Relevant certifications in software testing, agile methodologies, or QA automation (an asset)
