**SEASONAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN, SARNIA, ON**

The seasonal maintenance technician will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the property and continually work towards supporting the community.

The duration of the position shall commence as soon as possible and end October 31, 2023 with the potential for recurring seasonal work.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:

- Responsible for the ground’s maintenance and landscaping of the property
- Responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all community buildings and equipment
- Maintaining the pool and spa facilities
- Responsible in maintaining all Health & Safety aspects of the Community and Community

Buildings
- Ensuring ongoing communication with Community Manager
- Responsible for cleaning work area, tools and equipment.
- Responsible for courteous and efficient responses at all times.
- Operate within the applicable Occupational Health & Safety legislation and company policies at all times.
- Be prepared to accept after hour calls and act on emergencies as required.
- Other duties as required

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience; Clean Driver’s Abstract and Clean background/criminal check required.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**:

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Physically fit; ability to lift, push and pull up to 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs infrequently; ability to work at heights
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and organizational skills

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:
