**Job Description**:

- The Building Operator, Facilities is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Canada Goose facility._

**Qualifications**:
**What You'll Do**:

- Monitor and maintain building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting
- Clean light fixtures and change light bulbs/tubes
- Perform minor repairs on windows, doors, switches, desks, tables, plugs, equipment, appliance, sinks, toilets, blinds, etc.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Perform drywall patch & repair and painting, as required
- Perform regular preventive maintenance. Help to maximize predictive / preventative maintenance activities that will decrease the need for emergency and corrective maintenance
- Monitor and maintain adequate supplies and equipment for the facilities department
- Liaise with contractors and external vendors, as required
- Active member of Health & Safety committee; investigating and addressing all issues and workplace inspection items noted from monthly meetings
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
- Oversee the cleaning team
- Maintain facility inventory
- File service documents

**Experience and Education**:

- A minimum of 5 years, Building Maintenance experience with increasing responsibility in a Medium to Large facilities preferred
- Post-secondary education
- Related experience in building maintenance and facility operations

- Knowledge of building codes and building material
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Windows)
- Thorough knowledge of all building maintenance and safe operation practice
- Driver’s License and Vehicle preferred.

**Working Conditions**:

- Indoor/outdoor, rain, snow, freezing rain, extreme heat, extreme cold
- Office /manufacturing environment
- Shipping and receiving, storage area
