✨Fort Rouge Child Care is looking for a full-time individual to work closely with a child with additional support needs, on term (with possibility of extension) to join our wonderful team of educators.

We are looking for an empathetic, patient, energetic and kind individual who loves preschool children; to work with a child with additional support needs and a team of educators to fully support a child in need of one on one care.

We are located just off cozy Corydon, steps away from a bus stop, and has street parking. We are apart of a beautiful community and within walking distance to many great local businesses and green spaces.

Our centre offers: paid professional development and competitive wage salary. We are a friendly, supportive, inclusive, fun filled program and we’d love for you to join us
- have a minimum of two years working in an inclusion support role.
- have a sincere desire to work with young children and an understanding of child development
- be willing to obtain a child abuse registry check and a crumbly record check with a vulnerable sector search
- be willing to obtain/have current first aid and CPR level C
- be willing to obtain/have 40 hour course related to child care (after a year) or their ECE II.
- have a strong desire to work with children who may display challenging behaviours
- be willing to learn and take direction from others
- have a positive attitude and take initiative
- be a strong team member

Pay: $17.04-$20.77 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:
