**Program Manager**
Number of positions: 2 Job Location: Dunsmuir 05
Employment type: Temporary Region: Lower Mainland
Hours of work: Full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Flexible Work Role: Hybrid
Annual salary: $ 107,000.00 - 135,300.00
**What you'll do**
- As a Program Manager, this role will lead multiple products and projects on the Capacity Products team. The Capacity
Products team is responsible for demand response programs, across all sectors, residential, commercial and industrial, to
provide MW savings at a system level. The team is also responsible for Non-Wires Alternatives solutions, using energy
efficiency and demand response programs, to solve localized capacity constraints. The team leads trials and pilots that
explore new product technologies to provide additional load flexibility.
The Program Manager will have a proven track record of program development and management of multiple projects,
transitioning products and projects to operations, driving continuous improvement, working in cross-functional teams, and
likes work in new and fast paced environments, can make decisions and drive work forward.
- Provide project management, direction and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, Residential, Commercial, and
Industrial product managers, Communications, Key Account Management and other departments, to execute programs
requiring multiple approaches to customers that utilizes various delivery methods.
- Support business planning, reporting and achieving performance targets and/or initiating alternate strategies.
- Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal and external clients/ stakeholders to ensure
success of program delivery.
- Provide specialist knowledge to internal stakeholders and customers regarding the development and operation of
programs and projects.
- Understand, investigate, analyze and report product and market trends and issues related to demand response to meet
capacity savings.
- Run regular and ad hoc project update meetings and design workshops to ensure regular communication amongst
program stakeholders
**What you bring**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant discipline such as business
administration.
- 8-10 years of experience with program and project management within a large, complex organization.
- Understanding of multiple customer sectors, knowledge and understanding of BC Hydro's business and the
interdependencies of the various departments and systems.
- Proven critical thinking, including analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement program, process and/or system changes
- Demonstrated ability to build influential relationships internally and externally, at every level of the organization.
- Results-driven, while respecting the importance of collaboration and teamwork.
- Requires excellent oral, written and presentation skills for communication with a wide variety of internal and external
stakeholders as listed above.
- Knowledge and understanding of BC Hydro's business and the interdependencies of the various departments and
- systems.
