**Manager of Global Talent**

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Manager of Global Talent provides consultation in change management, organization effectiveness, performance issues, and works in partnership with administration and client groups to orchestrate cultural development and organization change initiatives that address corporate goals and strategies. Through program development, learning and development, project management, and research, the incumbent provides advice and support aimed at building organizational cohesion, health, and flexibility. Reporting to the VP of HR, s/he will have responsibilities for the overall integration, design, delivery and monitoring of learning and organizational development programs and services. Managing a team of learning professionals, this position will ensure the design, development and delivery of learner centric solutions that are based on sound analytics and adult learning principles. This position will ensure the use of best practice instructional techniques in the design, development and delivery of training programs that engage and motivate learners to achieve the desired outcomes. Working closely with senior leadership to understand and assess L&D needs and translate into a development of a comprehensive talent development strategy. Includes full accountability for learning & development and performance management (as it relates to talent management practices) experiences along Napoleon’s associate lifecycle. Inclusive of all initiatives to develop and retain top-talent and ensure leadership continuity. This position will also ensure training is readily available and accessible to end users and monitored to ensure effectiveness, currency and customized to meet specific customer needs. The Manager of Global Talent is responsible for the comprehensive Talent Acquisition strategy, including full accountability for Attraction & Acquisition and Onboarding & Immersion experiences. Inclusive of all initiatives to attract and onboard top-talent.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
**Talent Acquisition**
- Spearheads comprehensive understanding of hiring needs across each business-unit, and accountable to managing Talent Acquisition Specialist in delivery of full-cycle recruitment against these needs.
- Oversees external agency relationships. Includes identifying Preferred Partners from cost/culture perspective, responsible for contracts and agreements, ensuring ROI on agency investments, etc.
- Responsible for ROI of acquisition function. Includes reporting and achievement of key metrics, recruitment budget commitments (i.e., cost avoidance), etc.
- Leads development of core-&-common acquisition resources across Napoleon.
- Spearheads strategy on hiring for critical business periods
- Leads development of orientation and immersion programming, to ensure a quick time-to-competence for new-hires.

**Talent Development**
- Develops learning philosophy and framework for Napoleon and builds architecture to nurture a learning culture. Includes learning models, quarterly development calendar, learner management system, online learning platform, etc.
- Accountable for effective execution of Napoleon’s Learning & Development programming. Includes facilitated training sessions, leadership assessments, self-directed learner resources, etc. Measures ROI to inform programming decisions/direction.
- Directs effectiveness of Napoleon’s Learning Library. Includes user engagement, content curation, consultation on programming to business partners/units, and measurement on program ROI.
- Drives Talent Development Review process for all salaried and hourly associates. Includes resource development, communication and implementation, and program evaluation. Guides team in goal setting, development discussions and performance consulting.
- Develops and drives full Talent Cycle. Includes succession/workforce planning framework.
- Manages external vendor relationships. Includes recommending options, maintaining agreements, and making build vs. buy decisions on learning solutions.
- Builds internal pipeline of talent across Napoleon, through leadership development and succession programming.
- Develops talent budget annually and held accountable to meeting it.
