Pet Groomer

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing for various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Consult with pet owners to discuss their grooming preferences and needs.
- Assess the condition of each pet's skin and coat, identifying any issues or abnormalities that may need veterinary attention.
- Handle pets with patience and gentleness, ensuring a stress-free grooming experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sterilizing equipment and tools.
- Keep accurate records of each pet's grooming history and any specific instructions or preferences.
- Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, trends, and products.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and providing advice on pet care and grooming maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a positive and cohesive work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification from a recognized pet grooming school or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a pet groomer, with a portfolio of past work.
- Strong knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pets when necessary.
- Passionate about animal welfare and committed to providing the highest standard of care.

Pay: $16.55-$34.72 per hour
