Responsibilities:

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing for various breeds of dogs and cats.
Consult with pet owners to discuss their grooming preferences and needs.
Assess the condition of each pet's skin and coat, identifying any issues or abnormalities that may need veterinary attention.
Handle pets with patience and gentleness, ensuring a stressfree grooming experience.
Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sterilizing equipment and tools.
Keep accurate records of each pet's grooming history and any specific instructions or preferences.
Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, trends, and products.
Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and providing advice on pet care and grooming maintenance.
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a positive and cohesive work environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification from a recognized pet grooming school or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a pet groomer, with a portfolio of past work.
Strong knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments.
Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pets when necessary.
Passionate about animal welfare and committed to providing the highest standard of care.

Pay:
$16.55-$34.72 per hour
