**Job Description Summary**

Sunbelt Rentals - the fastest growing rental business in Canada
- is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator & Driver - You

As a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator & Driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from the customer worksite. This role will drive a flatbed or roll-back truck in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban, and rural settings. The ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required. **Position Responsibilities**:

- Unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with materials to verify accuracy of shipment.
- Inspects incoming shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor.
- Packaging / loading equipment for outbound shipments including wrapping of equipment to protect it from damages while in transit.
- Responsible for pulling parts orders as well as filling Transfer / Sales Orders.
- Make sure product is properly identified with part numbers / labels.
- Performs cycle counts for various floor locations.

**Education or experience that prepares you for success**:

- Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Driver’s license with Class 5 Certification and acceptable driver's record

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on**:

- 5 Ton Truck driving Experience
- Prior training and/or experience with similar commercial equipment preferred
- Experience with towing equipment ( film equipment, generators etc.)
- Ability in performing physical duties (Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads, or unloads equipment)
- Ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs to equipment and vehicle at job sites
- Customer service attitude

**The physical demands of this role** **require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
