Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders
- Schedule transport of goods with courier and trucking companies.
- Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, enter information for customer and shipping portals.
- Correspond with customer logistics companies, couriers, and trucking companies.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other Purchase Orders.
- Maintain internal record-keeping system.
- Record shortages and reject damaged goods.
- Route goods to appropriate storage areas
- Perform order picking and fulfillment tasks according to established procedures and following customer preferences.
- Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments.
- Loading and unloading of goods
- Supervise material handlers and helpers.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist production staff as and when needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related field
- Proficiency in using and order fulfillment software
- Familiarity with order picking processes and techniques
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse layout
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
